Bogotá, May 2025. With outstanding growth across every metric, the 18th edition of Expoconstrucción and Expodiseño closed successfully at Corferias, cementing its position as the region's leading event for the construction and design sector. Over six days, more than 51,000 visitors toured the show — a nearly 10% increase compared to the 2023 edition.

"This edition was a showcase of hope, recovery, and momentum. A space where exhibitors presented their innovations and built relationships of trust. We are deeply grateful for the support of our visitors, who came not only to  do business but also to discover and value the sector's solutions," said Lilian Conde, Project Manager for Expoconstrucción and Expodiseño at Corferias.
Guillermo Herrera, Executive President of Camacol, added: "Despite the challenges, the sector remains a major economic force, mobilizing investment across the entire value chain in excess of COP 200 trillion. Camacol continues working with every region to ensure the sector keeps benefiting Colombians through more decent jobs and high-impact investment, both economic and social.

Edwin Chirivi, General Manager of Camacol Bogotá and Cundinamarca, stated: "We are proud to close this edition, which continues to establish itself as the leading meeting point for the construction and design sector. Business, innovation, and sustainability took center stage, demonstrating the sector's resilience and commitment. This event also positions Bogotá as a hub for major trade shows and investment opportunities." International Business Matchmaking Program: A Complete Success With support from ProColombia, the business matchmaking program connected more than 100 international buyers — from Aruba, the Bahamas, Barbados, the Cayman Islands, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, the United States, Guyana, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela — with 222 exporting exhibitors between May 21 and 22. The program generated 955 business meetings and closed deals on-site totaling USD 14,804,400.

Additional projected business includes:
  • 1 to 3 months: USD 1,797,300
  • 3 to 6 months: USD 6,442,000
  • 6 to 12 months: USD 32,898,100
  • Total: USD 55,941,800

The 18th Edition: A Hub for Industry Knowledge Between May 21 and 25, the show hosted more than 30 hours of academic programming across nearly 50 talks, featuring 45 panelists addressing topics such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation, sustainability, and new developments. Expoconstrucción and Expodiseño once again proved to be the ideal launch platform for trendsetting products and services in the industry: 1. Cementos Argos, the event's official sponsor, highlighted its line of sustainable products, including low-carbon-emission cements and concretes, as well as a new structural cement with soluble packaging that supports the circular economy

Interior design at this edition ranged from pastel minimalism to maximalist looks with metallic accents. Even so, the dominant trend leaned toward natural aesthetics: earth tones, organic materials, and textures that evoke calm. "This year we saw a clear shift toward designs that convey calm, balance, and authenticity; stone, wood, and natural-fiber finishes were the absolute stars," said Beatriz Londoño, General Manager of Calizo. 3. Casa Toro presented a John Deere backhoe loader equipped with five technology pillars for efficiency and maintenance: telemetry, electronic protection, digital access to manuals, a preventive self-diagnostic system, and remote calibration. With that, the 18th edition of Expoconstrucción and Expodiseño concluded on a high note. "We're already at work on our next gathering in 2027. We look forward to reconnecting and continuing to show that building truly builds," concluded Lilian Conde, Project Manager.
